  • Marijuana Inc.

I just finished watching Marijuana Inc. Inside America's Pot Industry, and as an avid pot smoker I found it very informative and insitful. It had parts that were pro marijuana and parts that were against marijuana.

Although, I think what I got out of the program was not what they had intended. They showed how much money the government could be making on taxes coming from marijuana. Now, maybe I am being naive and not looking at all the things that could happen with the legalization of marijuana, but I'm thinking that we are facing a near depression in our economy right now. If marijuana was legalized, then we would get so much more money then we are now. That money could be the thing to get us out of the depression.

Also, they talked about a "War on Pot." While they were talking about it, they were saying how they were scared they were going to loose this war. Well, again, another logical thing to do in this situation would be to legalize it. Save money by taking out those government jobs that are trying to regulate the drugs laws. There are parts in the country that marijuana is legal. Yes, it is called the Emerald Triangle in Northern California. A city official said that over 60% of the population was involved in the marijuana industry in one way or another ... just imagine the population of the entire country that would be part of the marijuana industry if it was legal. I know I would be a very good customer.

Criminals are making a very good profit off of something that everyone could be making a profit off of. If the sales of marijuana were under government control, we would be the richest country in the world, instead of in massive debt as we are now. I hope that our new president, Barack Obama, will think seriously about everything that's happening in the country at this moment, because it is one very sure way of helping everyone.

I am now going to devot my life to the legalization of marijuana.

  • Lie to Me.

So I'm sitting at home watching this new show on FOX called LIE TO ME, and it scared the hell out of me. Here i have been going about my life thinking that people don't know what I'm thinking, that my head was the only safe place in my world, and wow was I wrong.

Apparently you can tell what people are thinking by the way their face moves, and by simple things like that. they showed pictures, and they were very convincing. Maybe they were just taking the examples that worked together and showing those, but it makes you think doesn't it? Maybe there are people out there who can tell every lie I tell, whether it is a harmless white lie, or a big life threatening lie (not that I tell life threatening lies very often, if I ever have at all.) It makes me nervous.

They also said tha the average person lies 3 times in a normal 10 minute conversation... Is this true?! I find it hard to believe, but at the same time it sounds completely true. Yes there are exceptions, but for the most part I think this may be true. I think back to simple conversations I have had recently, and little things like "I don't know" and "I don't remember" make me a liar. I say these things when I don't want to lie to them, but I don't think about them as a lie when I say them.

I will try to tell 100% of the truth from now on, mostly out of fear that someone will find out that I am lying, but also because I do feel that it is the right thing to do. I hope it will be easier then i think it will be now, because I sure am thinking about questions that people can ask me that I have no clue how to even begin to answer honestly... Oh well.

About Me

  • I am an advocate of the legalization of recreational use of marijuana. I am serious about this subject, and plan to make it my life to goal to have marijuana legalized. I understand that there are a lot of people who wouldn't agree with this, but there are so many reasons for it, and providing you with this information is why I am here. peaceloveandweed my pal<3
